Chapter Thirteen - Yet more Compositing...

Sculpting




  • Set the scene like I did in the earlier sessions
  • Then create a plane
  • Make it editable
  • Make sure it selected 
  • Change layout to sculpting
  • Subdivide 3 or 4 times
  • Click on 'Pull' ( hold ctrl to create an invert effect and just click the mouse to pull out)

Creating Objects so they appear behind things

  • Taking a photo from the internet
  • Set the scene like I did in the earlier sessions
  • Now leave Cinema 4D and open up Photoshop
  • load in the image and fill in the fore ground with black on an other layer
  • When done, save the black layer at alpha
  • Now create new material with the alpha
  • create a plane and drop material onto it
  • then put in object in and around the the trees
